Maximum impact, minimal disruption
TLT’s partnership with Interaction stretches back to 1992, with offices from Belfast to Bristol – most recently Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Manchester. Thanks to a growing team, their London office was next in line for a refresh, as the firm expanded to take the entirety of their floor in this BREEAM Excellent building in the heart of the City.
The project was carefully planned and delivered over two phases across 15 weeks to keep disruption to a minimum. The first and largest phase focused on the main office areas, including a full strip-out, installation of new partitions, services, and finishes, while the second phase tackled the remaining spaces and final adjustments. This phased approach ensured the TLT team could continue working throughout, with minimal impact on their day-to-day operations.
Futureproofed workspace
A growing office for a growing team
With the team expanding, the office needed to offer more desks without compromising space or comfort. Desk screens and frames were reused where possible, while storage was dismantled and rebuilt in new configurations to reduce waste. A secure work area was also introduced for confidential client and team meetings – including a List X certified room, allowing the TLT team to handle sensitive information without feeling detached from the rest of the office.
Creating a strong first impression was central to the design. A bright, airy new reception welcomes staff and visitors, with a client welcome area framed by feature wood dividers that add warmth and texture. A standout breakout lounge overlooks the atrium, flooded with natural light from the full-height windows. The space blends functionality with comfort, offering both a kitchen for lunches and soft seating that provides the perfect informal spot for a quick catch-up or coffee with a client.
As always in TLT’s offices, wellbeing is a key priority. Focus areas, flexible workspaces, and modern technology give staff the freedom to work in ways that suit them, while a multi-faith room, complete with Wudu washing facilities, offers a quiet, reflective space that supports inclusivity and personal wellbeing.
Our partnership with TLT may stretch back decades, but we aim to offer something fresh and exciting with each new office project, delivering flexible and sustainable workspaces that meet the changing needs of the firm’s workforce.

Look and feel
Distinctly TLT
Every TLT office has its own accent colour – London’s is green – appearing throughout desk screens, upholstery, acoustic panels, and styling, paired with the firm’s signature navy blue. Subtle pink accents provide contrast and warmth, adding visual interest without overwhelming the space. Planting and plant-inspired artwork continue the green theme, bringing a natural, calming element into the workspace.
The office also reflects its London location. Bespoke upholstery features line drawings of London parks on cushions and armchairs, while a meeting room incorporates London skyline acoustic panelling, echoing a similar feature in the Edinburgh office and creating a sense of connection across locations despite being 400 miles apart. Familiar details like the blue watercolour carpet and glass manifestations tie this office back to the wider TLT portfolio, ensuring every location feels part of the same story.
Acoustic ceiling panels have been strategically placed in the open-plan areas to support productivity while maintaining an open, collaborative feel. Wayfinding flooring guides staff and visitors intuitively around the floor, and careful furniture placement, breakout zones, and seating nooks ensure the office is practical, flexible, and welcoming. Every detail has been considered to support TLT’s culture and values while creating a space that works for people day-to-day.
