Runway East has expanded into Shoreditch with a new workspace in one of East London’s most characterful neighbourhoods.

Located close to Old Street and Liverpool Street, the building combines strong architectural features with large floor-to-ceiling windows and original period details.

The design centres around a mix of shared and quieter spaces, giving people the option to work in different ways throughout the day. The ground floor acts as a focal point, built around a central kitchen, with more tucked-away areas layered in using bold textures and patterns. There’s also a hidden meeting room discreetly set behind a bookshelf.

Each floor has its own identity, with varied communal settings including relaxed lounge areas, tiered seating and informal breakout spaces.

The upper floor is arranged to support larger teams, with more private areas alongside shared amenities, balancing focus with access to the wider workspace.

Before works began, the building had undergone a major renovation, bringing several separate buildings together into one cohesive environment.
