2018: Our Best Year Yet
Posted by Interaction on 17/12/2018
2018 has been a blast...
We’ve grown, taken on an array of unique projects, and widened our reach to The Midlands – all allowing us to develop our design and build expertise and to share our passion for creating amazing workplaces...
As well as numerous projects in Bath and Bristol, this year we have created more inspirational workplaces further afield.

Widening our reach
With ongoing success and an influx of new team members, passion and creativity, the past 12 months have taken us all over the UK. For example, earlier this year, we created inspirational new workplaces for Thrings in London, The Rethink Group in Birmingham and Lookers in Manchester.
Closer to home, notable projects in Bath and the surrounding areas have included new head offices for: Wild & Wolf, Rocketmakers, LoveHoney, Handelsbanken, MoveGB and Funko. Other project highlights in The South West include: TLT, Amdaris, Runway East, NEX and The PG Group.
2018 has seen our biggest year for team growth!

Lots of new faces
By winning a record number of projects, we have been able to develop our team to support the influx of work. In the last 12 months, our team has increased from 34 to 46, with additional recruitment still taking place.
A larger team means we can now work on even more projects; we have even been able to set our own record for the number of projects on-site at any given moment, with this being ten in September of this year. This positive cycle of an increased workload has led to to recruitment and further growth – so win win all round!
Earlier this year, we created two shiny new head offices at Manvers Street in Bath.
As a Bath-based team, we were particularly thrilled to work with renowned local companies Wild & Wolf and Rocketmakers when they needed help to create a new office space. Both companies relocated to office spaces at Manvers Street – a short walk from our own office.
Our team formed close relationships with both clients and created inspirational workplaces that perfectly matched their individual cultures and working needs. Proving that each workplace can be completely unique, design features included a bespoke show-room for Wild & Wolf and a tailor-made ‘rocket’ for Rocketmakers – it is perhaps no surprise that both clients were thrilled, and that their workplaces can now be used as tools to inspire creative thought, new recruits and wider business success.
Due to the high standard of Wild & Wolf’s new workplace, it was shortlisted for Commercial Refurbishment or Fit-Out Project of the Year at this year’s Insider South West Property Awards – a category we were delighted to win last year, with The Castle that we created for money.co.uk. We were also thrilled to be crowned as winners in the "Commercial Interior Design" category at the first ever Bath Property Awards.

Always keen to showcase our work, this year we have held a number of successful “Show & Tell” events – including at Runyway East Bristol, Wild & Wolf in Bath and NEX at Bristol’s Programme. These events were a great opportunity for guests to get to know more about the projects and the positive effect that they have had on the local businesses.

Bring on 2019...
With more projects on site as we speak, including the extensive 23,000 sq ft development at Frome Business Park, we’re certainly looking forward to the next 12 months.
