A space to reflect their brand and support their success.
BDO is one of the largest international accounting networks in the world with an office in Bridgewater House, Bristol. Due to their success, they recently doubled capacity by expanding their 10,000 sqft west wing office to occupy the whole of the fifth floor.
In need of a design to blend with their existing space and bring the two wings together seamlessly, BDO appointed Interaction to work with them and create a larger corporate office with additional meeting rooms and a breakout hub.
BDO’s additional space had to be in keeping with their brand and image. The extension of the breakout space was to create a central hub for the company, providing a space with colour, better facilities and a variety of soft seating including a large picnic bench. This café style encourages socialising and relaxing.
The new open plan work stations follow a hot desking policy while incorporating open and flexible meeting space and enclosed collaboration pods, ideal for private working or informal communication.
Wallace, Gromit and Banksy are the names of the new meeting suites, representing the local culture to identify the Bristol based office. These three meeting rooms are constructed using folding walls to easily transform into a larger training/conference space.
The client is delighted with the fresh look and extended facilities to their office and for their employees. The café area quickly became the social hub it was intended to be, helping to promote the communication between employees and departments, assisting the business to continue on its successful path.
