Our Pledge To The Environment

At Interaction, we recognise that our work has an environmental impact and we are committed to minimising this. To this end, we pledge to:

· Comply with all applicable environmental legislation and regulations.
· Reduce our use of use of materials and energy.
· Use products and resources from sustainable suppliers and employ environmentally responsible sub-contractors in accordance with the Considerate Contractors Scheme and BREEAM.
· Minimise the impact of noise, air, land and water pollution on our construction sites.
· Manage our waste material by working with accredited waste management specialists to decrease our landfill, and increase our recycling potential.  This includes the reuse/selling of unwanted furniture through our sister company Interchange.
· Promote environmental best-practice to our clients through sustainable designs, resources and technology, and by also ensuring that our staff are fully trained in environmental awareness.
· Assist in the investigation of any environmental incidents on our operational sites.
· Consistently monitor, review and revise our environmental objectives and procedures as appropriate, and make them available to interested parties.
